A visit to the School of Fashion and Textile graduates' exhibition is a somewhat ambivalent experience. On the one hand, one can see amazing pioneering works, but on the other hand, there aren't a lot of truly wearable items. Besides, there are only a handful of designers who, during their studies, succeed in cracking the complex formula of expressing their ideas in a desirable fashion piece, which is both doable and will not burn a hole in the consumer's pocket. So naturally, I was overjoyed to discover Gal Stern and this outstanding tights collection, designed as part of her final project in the Shekar Textile Department.
